What Are the Options for Managing Your NDIS Funding?
When you receive an NDIS plan, you can choose how your funding is managed.
There are three main options:
1. Plan Managed
This is where a Plan Manager (like us!) looks after the financial and administrative side of your plan.
A Plan Manager helps by:
Paying your providers on your behalf
Tracking your budgets and spending
Sending you regular statements
Helping you understand how much funding you have left

3. Agency Managed (NDIA Managed)
If your plan is agency managed, the NDIA pays your providers directly.
The main limitation is that you can only use registered NDIS providers, which may reduce your choice.

It’s simple. At your planning meeting or plan review, just tell your NDIA planner or Local Area Coordinator that you’d like to be plan managed.
They will then include funding for plan management in your plan, and you can choose your preferred provider.
